How To Insert Emojis In HTML πππ
Method #1. Insert The Emoji By Itself In The HTML Code
This way is certainly much easier and more modern than method number 2. Let’s say you want the grinning face emoji which is ?. You can just copy and paste that emoji into the HTML file.
Basically, for any given emoji, you just paste the emoji by itself in an HTML file. Here is a comprehensive list of every single emoji. Find your emoji, and then copy and paste the emoji icon into your HTML file. Remember, your HTML code must have UTF-8 encoding explicitly declared in the head, as mentioned before, otherwise your emoji might not be rendered properly.
Method #2. Insert The Emojis Using HTML Character Escapes
This is the older way to insert emojis, but still a useful way to insert them and possibly a more instructive way to do so. Unicode code point values exist for every Unicode value. Basically, Unicode code point values are what the creators/maintainers of Unicode use to give every Unicode character a unique representation for computers. Nearly every character from nearly every major language has a unique Unicode value. Emojis are also represented by Unicode code point values. For example, winking face ? has a Unicode code point value of U+1F609.
To convert the Unicode code point value into an HTML character escape, you will simply do the following:
- Find the Unicode code point value for the emoji you want to insert. Here is a comprehensive list of all emojis in Unicode and their corresponding Unicode code point values.
- Once you have the relevant code point value, copy it down, and delete the “U+” part
- Then put an ampersand hash
&# in front of the other parts of the Unicode code point value.
- Finally, at the end, put a semicolon
;
Now for a quick explanation of what the code means. In HTML, anything beginning with a ‘&#’ and ending with a ‘;’ (both without the quotes) indicates a special character. And the ‘x’ part of the escape code indicates to the browser that what is to follow is hex code. Unicode point values are usually represented in hex code. It is a standard.
If you use Unicode encoding, you probably won’t have to use character escapes, but in HTML there are 5 characters you must escape. The characters you must use character escapes for are for ampersand &, greater-than sign >, less-than sign, <, quotation mark “, and apostrophe ‘.
Below are the corresponding escape codes:
& & (ampersand)
< < (less-than sign)
> > (greater-than sign)
" ” (quotation mark)
' ‘ (apostrophe)
You must use escape codes for those 5 characters because ‘&’, ‘<‘, ‘>’, ‘”‘, and “‘”. have special meaning in HTML. This is just like data types such as int, float, etc., have special meaning in programming languages. If you don’t escape &, <, >, “, or ‘ in HTML code, and you mean to have them displayed as you see them, then you will probably get some kind of error, or the page won’t render properly.
&# in front of the other parts of the Unicode code point value.;& & (ampersand)< < (less-than sign)> > (greater-than sign)" ” (quotation mark)' ‘ (apostrophe)Additional Notes For Rendering Emojis In HTML
Save Your Text Files and HTML Files In UTF-8 Encoding. Don’t Just Declare UTF-8 Encoding In The Head
Make sure that you save your HTML file in UTF-8 encoding. If you use Windows, Notepad and Wordpad may default to saving files in ASCII encoding, which we don’t want. Make sure you save the file in UTF-8 encoding otherwise non-ASCII characters, like emojis, might not render properly in the browser even if you have the header with UTF-8 encoding.
Not Every Emoji Is Supported In All Browsers Yet
While browsers continually get better as time goes on, and they support more and more emojis natively, older browsers might not support a specific or any emoji. Generally, I would use method #1 for newer browsers, but if you want better backwards compatibility, it might be better to use method #2.
For a much more in depth discussion about encodings etc, I highly recommend W3’s HTML character encodings in HTML and CSS tutorial here.

glow sticks: are they dangerous?
Glow bracelets, sticks, and necklaces are popular items for kids. However, many parents are concerned about the liquid inside and whether or not it is toxic. Rest assured that these items are relatively safe, but of course there are some precautions to consider when using them for fun.
Are Glow Products Safe?
Items that glow have delighted children and adults for years. The question surrounding the safety of the liquid inside glowing sticks, bracelets, and other glow novelties often arises among concerned parents.
People aren't just worried about their children either. The Animal Poison Control Center of the ASCPA receives masses of similar calls from concerned pet owners each year. With this overwhelming concern for public safety, it's a surprise that glow products are such big sellers.
Glowing novelty products, such as bracelets and sticks, are safer than the common household cleaners you find in a typical home. Your young child is far more likely to be seriously hurt from choking on a small glow toy than by splashing herself with the liquid contained inside.
What Creates the Glow?
The liquid inside of some glow products is a chemical called dibutyl phthalate. Glow products that don't use dibutyl phthalate use a small glass ampoule that contains a mixture of hydrogen peroxide dissolved in phthalic ester. Surrounding the glass ampoule is another chemical called phenyl oxalate ester.
Dibutyl phthalate, widely considered the more dangerous of the above components, is used to manufacture plastics, glues, nail polish, leather, printing inks, safety glass, dyes and is used as a solvent for perfume.
Poison Control Comments
None of these chemicals are deadly dangerous, according to The National Capital Poison Center, which offers the following advice in the questions and answers section of its site:
"Question: My 7-year-old broke the light stick that goes with her Halloween costume. It splashed in her eye. She's screaming that it hurts. What should I do?
Answer: Rinse her eyes with running water for 15-20 minutes. After 15-20 minutes of rinsing, let her rest with her eyes closed. In the meantime, call the poison center."
The advice from poison control for ingestion of the so-called glowing toxic liquid chemical is much the same. Rinse your mouth out well, drink a little milk, and call poison control, which will again, stay in touch to make sure you're fine. Poison control encourages people to stay in touch often because different individuals can have various reactions to chemicals.
The Animal Poison Control Center Comments
Animal Poison Control reports that glow products are a low toxicity issue. Glow products may cause intense taste sensations in animals along with stomach upset, but no serious problems occur unless a very large amount is ingested.
Advice on Glow Products
According to all the best resources available, glowing products do not present an acute danger to children or pets. You should always handle any glow product with care and supervise older children who are using it. Small children and pets should not play with glow products. If a glow product breaks, you do not need to panic, but you should call poison control for more information.

Joaquin Phoenix heart warming speech: Golden Globes 2020

Phoenix took home the trophy for best actor in a drama, beating stars including Christian Bale and Adam Driver. During his acceptance speech, he trailed off and was bleeped several times, leaving the internet buzzing. He thanked the HFPA for going vegan before addressing his category-mates.
"To my fellow nominees, we all know there's no (bleep). It's like this thing that is created to sell advertisements for the TV show. I'm inspired by you. … Some of you I've reached out to personally. Some, uh, I'm still a little too intimidated by, even though we share the same agent: Hi, Christian. You're not here, but uh …" he trailed off.
Then he acknowledged his partner, Rooney Mara, in the audience, though on the broadcast it appeared he didn't say more than just her name followed by a muffled pause. But in the Globes ballroom, it was clearer that Phoenix delivered a sweet, soft message to Mara, muttering "love you," drawing coos from the crowd.
He then spoke about the fires in Australia and other issues facing the world today.
"Contrary to popular belief, I don't want to rock the boat, but the boat (bleep)," he added. "It's really nice that so many people have come up and sent their well wishes to Australia, but we have to do more than that, right? … It's great to vote, but sometimes we have to take that responsibility on ourselves and make changes and sacrifices in our own lives and hope that we can do that. We don't have to take private jets to Palm Springs for the awards sometimes or back, please."
But the actor fell into a passionate groove when asked about the Globes’ decision to serve a vegan dinner.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever eaten the food at this ceremony," said Phoenix. "I thought it was excellent. I was so moved by the decision to make tonight plant-based. It was such an important step.”
Phoenix said he hopes the rest of the awards shows this season follow suit. “Consuming animal products is no longer just a personal choice," he said, before saying his publicist was signaling it was time to go home. "It is having a drastic, massive consequence on the rest of the world.”
Some fans mocked his speech while others were supportive of the messages he shared.

WHAT IS GOOGLE?
Google LLC is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies, alongside Amazon, Apple, and Facebook.[10][11]
Google was founded in September 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University in California. Together they own about 14 percent of its shares and control 56 percent of the stockholder voting power through supervoting stock. They incorporated Google as a California privately held company on September 4, 1998, in California. Google was then reincorporated in Delaware on October 22, 2002.[12] An initial public offering (IPO) took place on August 19, 2004, and Google moved to its headquarters in Mountain View, California, nicknamed the Googleplex. In August 2015, Google announced plans to reorganize its various interests as a conglomerate called Alphabet Inc. Google is Alphabet's leading subsidiary and will continue to be the umbrella company for Alphabet's Internet interests. Sundar Pichai was appointed CEO of Google, replacing Larry Page who became the CEO of Alphabet.
HOW DOES GOOGLE WORK?
Google uses automated programs called spiders or crawlers, just like most search engines. Also like other search engines, Google has a large index of keywords and where those words can be found. ... Google uses a trademarked algorithm called PageRank, which assigns each Web page a relevancy score.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?
- Search for anything using keywords or keyword phrases.
- Learn what keywords and phrases are most popular for any subject.
- Find answers to any questions you might have.
- Find locations, phone numbers, addresses, and more.
- Use the alphabet method by typing in a keyword and then a, backspace b, backspace c, and so on until you find a relevant phrase you are looking for
WHAT ARE THE DEFICIENCIES?
in my opinion, there's nothing wrong about google but sometimes i guess you have to be more specific about what your looking for.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
- Authentic Knowledge available.
-G Suite Products makes work easier.
-Allows Hosting in Google Cloud Platform.
-Features to help in every problem.
-Helps business come online.
-Helps to reach a big number of audience.
-Helps to reach the right people in the right time.
